Over the Rainbow
This started as an entry for the Open Novella Contest, 2022. Unfortunately, I was having some medical difficulties (which I won't bore you with) and felt I needed to drop out after the first deadline. Shortly after taking up the story again, I realized that I was writing the same characters as those in my previous entry (ONC 2020), Thirteen Points of Light. So I did some quick editing and continued the story of Sarah and her box of magic matches. I'm trying really hard to make this a stand-alone story, but because I know the original story so well, I'm not entirely sure this one stands by itself. If you haven't yet, you may want to start with Thirteen Points and read them together as a single story. The story (this time around): Jared and Crystal's relationship is getting rocky. Arise A Hero
Enter a fantasy world where two opposing gods remain trapped in another dimension, they exist outside the normal timelines of mortal men and are forced to spend their days in an eternal prison for a long forgotten crime. Only a mortal may travel back and forth between the two rifts that connect the god’s worlds and time. Two sects have monopolised access into these rifts, learning that with the control of the rifts comes a great power. An order of warriors and a brotherhood of magicians use them as their training grounds where men can train in their art to the extreme for years, unaffected by time; they can even die inside the rift, returning to life when their body is ejected back out to their world. The Tale of Dragons and Dungeons
The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. Most of the time I tried to keep it to one linear story. I planned for a couple plot twist that never actually happened as I went on. Meep, my first story submitted to here. It also happens to rip off a lot of things from other stories. If you can notice them, you are the most epic person ever and you deserve ice cream.Complete

The Sign of Raphael (Rough Draft Novella)
If you read one thing from me in your whole life, please don't let it be this. This was a rough draft for a class, and my first written work of such a magnitude (other than perhaps some interactive fiction, which was better). I tried to handle it as a short story, and honestly it fails in that criteria. I've added chapters and some revisions to make it less odious. There is improvement throughout the novella, though there are also really obvious errors I haven't bothered to correct and wouldn't make nowadays. Supernatural-twinged cyberpunk action-adventure novella with a mystical-religious overtone. Dates back to February 2013. This is from a while back, and I was more into writing action than writing deeper more philosophical stuff. Not that it didn't try. Had to write it for a class, but I really did enjoy doing it at the time. Although it aimed to just be urban fantasy, the successor was set in one of my overarching settings I worked on for years. The instructor told me at the end of class that "You will make a great teacher, you give excellent feedback." Just be forewarned: this novella is a rough draft for a final draft damned by faint praise.Complete
