The Stars Aligned; Book One

The stars aligned, and I met you..

Luna was a shy person. She never talked much, and usually kept to herself. But, she loved going out and hiding in trees and watching the dragons go on about their days.

Soon, the dragons started becoming aggressive, fighting each other,and killing humans quite often. Luna was forced to stay away from the only home she had ever known - the forest where the dragons lived.

One day, while playing with some older kids, they all were dared to go into the ruins everyone called the forest. Luna was the only one of the group who went into the forest, and was never seen again.

After a thousand years had passed, a young teenager named Jay swore she'd prove the older kids wrong, and would go into the forest. No one had gone into the dark forest since Luna vanished, and it was fenced off.

Jay had leapt over the fence, ignoring her mothers screams and cries, and ran down the old path into the dark woods.
