The year is 2148 the Yellowstone Super volcano has erupted, leaving the United States in disarray. Four humans managed to survive the eruption, when it is safe to return to the surface they soon discover they are alone in a desolate world. Upon returning to the surface they must find a way to live as regular people after a catastrophic event. But, as they learn quickly life is not always as it seems.
