Being locked in that tower has turned Rapunzel against the world. She is not the nice and kind girl everyone knows.
This was caused by Pitch who has been speaking to her since she was young enough to walk. Manny has been watching her as well. Sixteen years later Manny sends a Guardian to push Rapunzel on the right path.
The Chosen Guardian is Jack Frost. He's new[This is set soon after ROTG] and knows he isn't the best Guardian, but to get Rapunzel's story back on track he has to turn her good again. He's got to years before Flynn shows up and this Rapunzel kills him.
Jack will eventually have two choices: allow Rapunzel to stay dark so he can stay with her or turn her good and allow destiny to go the way it's suppose to go.
