Madonna Travis, a  tenth grade student at Mallorin High School, was living a normal life. Nothing out of the ordinary for a girl like her.
Until her classmate, James Lukas, has a mysterious seizure and dies, the last thing known of him being the tar-like substance leaking from his eyes and mouth.
Now Madonna and her newest friend, Kharl Carmine, are hearing mysterious whispers of those they witness die the same death as James. The one name they both hold on to in the front of their mind is "Tarellin".

Now it's their job to find out who Tarellin is, and how their gonna stop them.
