I always hated the part in Twilight where the wolves imprint on children so I decided to write an alternate version where that just doesn't happen. It's creepy and I hate it. That being said: KR hasn't stepped foot in Forks since she was 5 years old. After struggling on the east coast against her abusive boyfriend, she flees to her hometown where she learns maybe not everything is how it seems. (Of course it's not lol).
