Accel World Season 2 Speculations: Accel World fans have their reasons to demand the series' continuation. What began as a Light Novel series written by Reki Kawahara, first published by ASCII Media Works in February 2009 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint, was ultimately picked up as an anime series by Sunrise which aired in Japan between April and September 2012. It was directed by Masakazu Obara, while the screenplay was written by Hiroyuki Yoshino of My-HiME fame. The widespread success of the series subsequently resulted in an English-language version, which began streaming on Viz Media's Neon Alley service from April 2013.All Rights Reserved
