An older brother, a eight year old sister, an old friend, and a random stranger are ordered by law to put their name in a drawing, thing is nobody knows what it's for. Everyone in the town 18 and younger put their name into the drawing and a week later it is announced three people will be chosen, but once again they still don't know what it is for. The next day passes by and three names are selected; Leopold Miller, Karen Miller, and Mallory white. After the names are drawn, and people are dumbfounded by the odds of a brother and sister winning the selection it is revealed these kids must be let out of the town for the first time in 7 years, to find the key to the temple in the middle of their town, Melvin (Yes that is the name of the town). As the three carry on their quest, accompanied by on adult named Krysa sterling, the kids start to question what the temple holds, but more importantly, if it should be opened. All of the villagers are set up for a big surprise, when the children return, and darkness falls on Melvin.

Everyone worries about Audrey Williams. She wishes that this wasn't the case. Six months ago, her brother drowned. She tries to get back to normal, she wants to go back to normal, well as normal as it can get. But when her and her friends go on a museum trip and a somewhat familiar statue is seen from a childhood book, Peter decides it would be funny if he "unleashed" the curse. What happens? Let's say that someone turns into a statue, chaos unleashes and Audrey and her friends need to get Peter back (with a little help of course).
