While most power ranger stories focus on the Monster of The Week, Power Rangers Primal Rage shines a light on the other side of being a Power Ranger, the unrequited fatal danger and stress that lingers once the high of being a hero wears off. This new team of Rangers fall into their role of heroism when they encounter an alien who has hidden on Earth after being hunt down by a space pirate for the treasure of said alien's home planet. These Rangers must not only face down this unknown enemy but must also balance responsibilities, relationships amongst each other, and personal struggles, all while keeping their aliases a secret. Will this pirate succeed in his conquest to obtain this treasure? Sometimes, the battles aren't just rangers versus monsters, most time the battles are within themselves, and small accomplishments become large mile stones for these rangers.

This fic is an unexpected addition to the Chosen Universe. It contains major spoilers for the previous seven fics, especially Legacy Rangers and Stone Warriors. It will heavily feature the Mystic Force, Dino Charge, and Stone Warrior teams, as well as some of your favorite Eltarians and other canon and non-canon characters from the Chosen Universe.
Power Rangers: Cube Battlers
The Rangers returned to their normal lives after defeating Lushadow-Void and creating the new Universe. But then, a message gets sent to the heroes, telling them that a new threat is planning to seize control of one of the most powerful energy sources in the Universe: the Morphin Grid, and the most shocking thing of all, is that the people who sent the message tells them not to come and help them. The Rangers then learn how Sheldon came up with the idea to create his own team of Power Rangers, different from the ones made from the Grid. The heroes decide to go to the Morphin World to stop this threat, but they need to be extra careful because they're Rangers who are not connected to the Morphin Grid, which means they're targeted by both the threat and the Morphin Grid. And what's more shocking is that the force behind it all is someone very familiar to them, especially to one Ranger specifically. To stop this new foe, the Rangers have now become: "the Power Rangers Cube Battlers", fighting the new threat while reluctantly fighting the Morphin Grid Power Rangers to avoid exposure. Y/n is just like any other teenager in school, only what if I were to tell you that he knows more about the Power Rangers than even the rest of Planet Earth knew? One day a couple of weeks after Tommy loses the Green Ranger's power, Y/n was walking around his hometown, until suddenly Rita's goons notice him and find something inside of him that he has yet to find, allowing the bad guys to get their hands on him. After being kidnapped by Rita Repulsa, Y/n is forced to tell his kidnappers about the Power Rangers, only he reveals that he doesn't know anything about them except they are pretty awesome and that they would do anything to protect the planet. Being held there against his will, the boy suddenly feels some power surge through his body and it was at this moment his life would change as he knew what was going on. He became a Power Ranger, only he was revealed to be the Green Ranger as he now stood in the chamber with his restraints off and in the Green Ranger uniform. After finding a way to escape capture, Y/n decided to go to the only person he knew who could help with this predicament, Tommy Oliver which made sense at the time seeing as he was the Green Ranger once upon a time. Tommy brings Y/n to the Command Center hoping that Zordon would be able to shed some light on this, but the guardian of the Power Rangers knew nothing of what was going on as Alpha didn't either, but the other Rangers figured the green candle was burnt out never to let the Green Ranger's power reveal itself again.
