Kassandra knows the power igniting at her fingertips isn't normal. She's spent her entire life ignoring the tingly feelings that urge her to use her gifts. An incident at home occurs, causing her to lose control over her powers.
Her and her mother flee from their small town in North Carolina, moving to a big city where they hope they won't be found.
Queens, New York.
She's always wanted to live there; she's even previously researched schools around the area. Her mom decides to send her to Midtown School of Science and Technology.
While there, her focus quickly shifts to Peter Parker, the school "nerd". He's...different. The same way she is. He has powers too.
Upon discovering this, she makes it her goal to figure out what he can do.
Will Kassandra figure out that this "Spider-Man" is also Peter Parker? Or will she stay in the dark like everyone else?

Post NWH; fixit. In the weeks and months following the spell, Peter's life has been... suboptimal. Nothing particularly terrible has happened (yet), but every day he goes longer and longer without meaningful personal contact, he feels like he loses a part of himself. He's really not sure how much longer he can keep this up. Meanwhile, MJ and Ned keep having weird experiences. Memories seem to flash and flutter, disappearing before they can grasp them, and it's getting increasingly annoying. It feels like they're missing something big, but with their friendship intact, senior year coming to a close, and the looming promise of MIT in the fall, they can't tell what it is. Between the mystery of Peter Parker (the coffee boy who keeps showing up at her job), the unreliability of her own memories, and the stress of her school life, MJ doesn't quite know how to feel. But she's always loved a good mystery, and Peter Parker certainly is one.Complete
