Depois de ter sido morta pelo seu Tio John ou Tio Johnny, como Sally o costumava chamar carinhosamente, a sua alma atormentada não deixou o mundo dos vivos e regressou à sua casa para voltar a ver os seus pais mas em vez disso, viu que a casa estava ocupada por outra família e chorou em desespero por estar perdida, não saber o que fazer sem a sua família.
  Vendo que estava sendo observada por um adolescente, decidiu brincar com ele, acabando com ele e a sua família, incendiou a casa na tentativa de acabar com a sua existência.
  Slenderman  aparece para salvá-la e diz-lhe que pode acabar com o sofrimento dela, propôs que esta se vingue do seu Tio e que viva na mansão para Creepypastas, pois nunca mais poderá viver com seres humanos.
Sally aceita a proposta e é levada pelo Slenderman para a sua mansão.
