The River in Her Dreams is a short story full of psychological suspense, with an unexpected twist. It explores the unreliable nature of memory. It is a story about a woman, who may or may not be having delusions, and who thinks she is losing her mind. Her memory about a past event is fragmented and distorted and she needs meaning and closure to be able to move on in her life. She is haunted by images of a river in her past, of which she has both happy and unhappy memories. Will she find the answers that she is looking for? And if she finds the answers, will she really achieve closure?
