United Terran (UT), an international organization that has been instrumental in the unity of the people of the Earth in the 22nd century, has transferred to the Luminarum, a new world that resembles Earth. Despite his best attempts at diplomacy and economic approach, the arrogance and hostility of the natives prove to be an unnavigable barrier. War is the only alternative. "si vis pacem, para bellum," "If you want peace, prepare for the war." What are the policies of the United Terran in the new world? How did they survive in a world infested with magic that defied the science law? What magical wonders will its adventurous citizens find? Can they become a "New World Order" in the new world? In the realm of Axos, humans exist with supernatural powers that are the basis of society and technology. Advancements, achievements, having a strong ability and being able to use it efficiently stood as the major symbol of class, with abilities tying into traits like intelligence with research to back it. Thus, the brightest and strongest of each generation were all sent to Avernius, the floating city at the center of the continent close to the core of the realm, the pinnacle of human achievement and an eternal shrine to the constellations, the humans that have transcended mortality through their ability. Of course, there is a deeper meaning in the schools in this magnificent city, as the schools produce tons of successful students every year, with the best being deemed as rankers. The cream of the crop is then put through trials and tests in order to attempt to qualify for the DECK initiative, who's original initiative was to create more constellations but now has a different role to play. As the current year approached, the covenant, a human that had transcended the realm of constellations and maintained the barrier around the realm, died for a mysterious reason. Thus, the graduates of the DECK initiative were gathered and each were put through tests designed to help them ascend into the position. In this story, the characters are all rankers from the four high schools and are attempting to qualify for DECK as they go through the qualification test for the program.

The first chapter of this book began with a young boy named Cosmos in a family of six, whereby he was coming of age into a man. He has always had the feeling of being out of place in the world, or perhaps it is the world which is out of place. He has always been a Genius, which is both a blessing and a curse. This boy has an imaginary friend which he nicknamed Morningstar. He is very picky with his choice of friends, it is not easy finding someone who can match his complex mind. One could say it is because he sees the best and the worst in people. The storyline took a different route after he got abducted by a dreaded terrorist sect during his NYSC program in Borno State, Nigeria (a program for Nigerian citizens, after they graduate from an higher institution). A lot began to unfold afterwards, he soon discovered that he is just the tip of the iceberg in an entire world filled with principal actors. Time soon made the readers understand that there are a lot of higher forces at play in this novel; humans with godlike technologies and powers out of this world.
