Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you most keep moving... Maybe it was a little odd that she was 17 and couldn't ride a bicycle. Maybe it was a little more odd that he agreed on the spot to teach her. Maybe it was a more odd that they just met yet they felt like they were friends since forever. Maybe everything is odd between Leighton and Liberty. Even there relationship because seriously, she had no idea what they were but sometimes odd is good. Sometimes life gives us different people to navigate through it and it's never easy but as long as you try, what can go wrong? (I am very bad with descriptions. I know this may sound terrible but that book it's self isn't that bad, I think? Just give this book a try and tell me what you think)

  • Dear you,

Three months. One Summer. One boy. Lyla Taylor a girl who says whatever comes to mind ends up accidentally saying her principal looks like a parot, saying her neighbor does not have a husband because she is mean and grumpy, and many more to many people. But the final straw was when she said her aunt looks like she swallowed a watermelon not knowing she was pregnant causing her parents to send her to her grandmother's house for the Summer. She had never met her grandmother before because her mother left home when she fell pregnant with her at the age of Nineteen. What does this Summer have in store for Lyla? (This book is a work of fiction and the characters, the setting and many more come from my mind/imagination.)
