Marinette is falling apart. Chat Blanc haunts her day after day, and she feels like she'll never be able to face him. She's stressed, anxious, and lost from the love in her heart. Adrien is confused. Everything is normal, yet everything is not. He lives through each day, unknowingly finding out more and more about his father, and who he loves. As time goes on, both of them start to find comfort in each other- not for the love they share, but for the comfort they give. Chat Noir's identity has been revealed in the worst possible way imaginable - In front of a nation-wide broadcast crew while facing an Akuma. His life is shaken dramatically, nothing can be the same again, and there is only one source of stability for both Adrien Agreste and Chat Noir now. Meanwhile, Marinette has to come to terms that the person she's admired and her occasionally irritating but trustworthy partner, are one in the same, all while reeling from visits from a certain cat she's grown particularly fond of. Primarily MariChat and Adrienette (It's all the same ship anyway, lets be honest here). First Marichat/Adrienette fanfic, so let me know any criticisms that you may have. One Miraculous Circus
A miraculous x greatest showman au (and some college au thrown in there). A sad start when Marinette Dupain-Cheng ends up living alone after a tragic accident. She starts a job at the famous Agreste circus to gain money and it is here she becomes face to face with a familiar boy, Adrien Agreste. Although she recognises him he can't return the favour as a mask covers her face, to him she is only known as Ladybug, the famous acrobat. If only he knew his close friend Marinette was the one he was falling for... In this story, there is no magic, Chat Noir and Ladybug, as well as other characters, are in this story but they're not displayed with the miraculous/magic or akumatizations or anything like that. There is some adrienette, ladrien and ladynoir throughout this story but I have included a tiny bit of lukanette and adrigami in there too (sorry if you don't like those ships, I don't either, to be honest, but those relationships add a little more random detail to the storyline so why not). So as you know Chat Noir is tired of all those secrets , hiding his identity is diffictult , but even more difficult when he doesn't knows the girl who is behind Ladybug's mask since he loves her . He would do anything to see that mysterious girl , but he also knows that she doesn't want him to know and respects that . Negative emotions sometimes overtake him , but tries to hide them , fearing that he will get akumatized . He doesn't like all those secrets and he wants to make Ladybug understand that hiding her identity from him , won't change anything ,but make it worse , he doesn't want to tell her about his fear , so Ladybug refuses to reveal her identity , but telling the truth . Chat Noir gets very emotional about and Ladybug too , but the only difference this time is that Chat Noir has let negative emotions take control ...Complete
