A man once cursed to be the only of his kind, banished to live the rest of his days alone and swallowed by his own depression. He was left to wander the forest, praying on the weak and festering in his hate of humanity.

Until Audrey.

Audrey has her own past that refuses to leave, she calls it a curse. In her attempt to escape, she moves to the small town of Creston, Canada and delves into small-town life hoping that nothing of her past will make it to the ears of the residents that live there. Soon, despite the warnings, she befriends a misunderstood man and tries to pull them both from their cursed existences and horror filled pasts.

"You think you have what it takes to handle the likes of me, sweetheart?" he whispered, a sardonic smile plastered on his lips, "you don't." ---------- Cold and cruel. That's who the Alpha of the Creston Bay pack was known to be. Greyson Otaire ruled under a strict dictatorship, knowing that the protection of his pack would always come first. After he was forced to abandon his lands from the threat of the Rogue King, it was time to head back. Only now, he would return to his lands with his mate, Natalia Hemmings, by his side. Greyson had sworn off the idea of mates, given up on the entire constitution of it, and after what happened in his past, he knew that not having a mate was best for everyone involved. But now he found her, marked her on sight, and was stuck with her. As hard as he fought to stay away from her, and as much as he tried to protect her from the demons of his past, the pull between them was too strong. Will the cold last forever or will his mate be able to burn through the wall of ice? __________ HIGHEST RANKINGS #1 in Small Town of 10.2k stories #40 in Moon Goddess of 3.9k stories #247 in Secrets of 109k stories #58 in Mates of 41.5k stories #356 in Black Writers of 383 stories #94 in Cliffhanger of 10.2k stories __________ FROST is Book Two of the Animal Instincts series and contains scenes and characters originally mentioned in the first book, Ignite. True Mates: The Beginning (mxm)

11 parts Complete Mature

Connor has always known that he has a true mate out there and that he is male. Even when nobody believed him, he defended his mate. Even when his father wanted him to mate a good female breeder, Connor said no, staying true to his mate. The more years passed, the harder it was for Connor, who just wanted to find his true mate, once and for all. And when he finally turned up, it was a surprise for Connor to discover that his mate was not as excited about the bond as Connor himself. What will Connor do? No trigger warnings. Rated mature for minimal sexual content and language. Tropes: gay romance, fated/true mates, shifters, werewolves, opposites, age gap, slow burn. This story is completed, however, not finished entirely. This is just the beginning of Connor and Jamie's adventure, and if you want me to continue it, let me know. If not, the story can stand on its own as it is, without anything further. It's up to you. :)
