Nicholas grew up with his best friend grace. Their parents were very close and they visited each others houses a lot when Nicholas and grace were little. they went to school together and shared everything. their ideas. their feelings. their hopes and dreams. granted email was the only person he had ever told his biggest secret to. he told her he was bi. their parents were religious and apposed LGBT+. however, Grace was okay with that. Nicholas was still halfway lying to her. but it brought them closer. they were like brother and sister. it was like that until their senior year. Grace asked Nicholas out on a date. They datec for a whioe until one day they were headed to Grace's parents house when a truck hit their car. Nicholas was awake enough to see and hear grace say her last words before dying next to him in his car.
