Penelope and Simon went up north, far north, to Newfoundland, Canada for summer. Than out of the blue, an asteroid winds up making it's self on earth, with life forms that have been living on it for generations. Simon's parents go missing and so does his sister. Thousands of people have died. They are all alone, they only have themselves.

Soon after everyone is asleep, he has the urge to murder Venus, to which he almost succeeds before wussing out. He then meets his imaginary companion. Mercury then murders with the his friends persuasion. Then again with the voices persuasion. His sanity becomes more dull as time passes. He's finally mustered up the courage to defend himself. Using the worst way possible.
