After defeating all their enemy's, the turtles didn't really have a reason to leave their lair. So life goes on. One day Donnie gets bored in his lab, so he starts messing with some stuff and accidentally ends up making a love potion. He didn't really have a use for it since after all, he didn't like April anymore. So he threw on a label that said not to touch the bottle and leaves it in the fridge. He leaves and Leo ends up chugging down the whole bottle. He fears he had gotten sick so he heads to Donnie's lab to see if he can help. After their small talk everyone starts to realize that Leo's starting to act a bit unusual towards a certain someone..

Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! But I needed a new kick and I wanted something epic, dramatic that involved the mystical powers of the turtles and their further developments. April: And then you started writing yourself? Me: The story came about on its own. In my head. And at some point I just had to write it down, otherwise I would have exploded. With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. I know that the "y/n" comes out of an inclusive thought, and I think that's good and right.
