"Intelligence can be a blessing, and a curse."
This is a different kind of story for my profile. There will be no romance. No super powers. It's nothing like those other stories. This one is about a 20 something college dropout who is seemingly absent-minded, but in reality is just trying to understand herself. She may break the 4th wall throughout the story, and talk to you, the reader. This is NOT a (xReader) story. This is a serious story. I doubt there will be much humor in this.

Things That Fade
It's the little things that count. The little things that pass by without our notice. The little things that pile up quietly, slowly, and before you know it, everything changes. Call it providence, or coincidence, or just plain good ol' luck that their paths managed to cross again after so many years. Whatever the case may be, she was grateful for it, because without meaning to, she managed to rekindle a flame she had long thought to be extinguished. They say don't talk and drive, and now I know why. Although, not for the reason you might think. I accidentally hit my alpha mate with my truck. Bet the insurance won't cover that. I wish I could say my story was this; It's raining while I'm driving home, I hit a dog, get out to help it surprise it's not a dog but a hot werewolf that I fall in love with under the beautiful stars. Sadly, not true. I hit the dog then have to help it and end up with my surprisingly genius best friend that's a wolf and that's all I think he is, but unfortunately I am one of the humans that believes werewolves are just fairytales.
