As a freshman in highschool, Mason didn't want to see her older brother join the Marines, and leave.
She now is stuck writing letters to her brother, Shawn. She writes daily, and just hopes he gets them as fast as possible.
Mason is going through the drama of highschool. The whole package. Back-stabbing friends, boy crazy, exams, and being labeled. Then the icing on the cake, her best friend left her to fight for her country.
Though she is extremely happy that he is fighting for their country and saving people, she misses him dearly and just wishes to drag him back to Ohio.
