"Are you sure you wanna do this?" He asks, his hazel eyes grazing over my tear streaked face illuminated by the moonlight. "I've never been so sure of anything in my entire life." "Carter, this is a big decision. Once you're in, you can never get back out." I wipe my face deliberately as he waits for my answer. No more pain, no more bullying. Maybe this is what I need. A new beginning. A chance to start over. "I want this, Nathan. I want in." I say. He takes me by the wrist and leads me over to his dark motorcycle. Putting his helmet on my head and strapping it under my chin, he stares into my large, brown eyes. "Everything's gonna be fine. I promise." He nods with reassurance as he tucks a curl behind my ear. Another tear escapes my eye and he quickly wipes it away. This is the most sincere Nathan has ever been with me and I feel nervous, but excited. He takes my hands and wraps them around his toned abs before we both sputter off into the moonlight. The applewood California breeze whips my face as we speed down the motorway. This is it. •••••••••••••• Carter Wyatt has just been moved to sunny Pasadena, California with her single dad. After her mother's passing and her older brother's death, things just weren't the same. Starting at a new school with new friends wasn't what she would worry most about. It would be The Bikers---a school gang that just won't stay out of her way. With a handsome and dangerous gang leader and a jealous blonde Biker always on her case, school becomes a tale of sacrifice and endurance, and maybe a little romance if she's lucky. When given the opportunity of a lifetime, will she give in and become a member of one of the most feared gangs in the west or will she stay true to herself and keep out of trouble?

"You should care, Dylan. You would still be living in the back of a car, stealing from Seven Eleven! Is that what you want?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The "Four Musketeers." That's what they called them. If they weren't all together they were two on two. And they give zero fucks about life. The Adopted one The Bad boy The Player The Best friend Dylan is like most troubled girls. She doesn't care about her grades, she skips school, hangs with the wrong crowds, and hates her parents. But of course there's a reason for all of this. Dylan is adopted. Dylan has always struggled with being adopted and she tends to fight everything in life. Many bad memories cause her to be the way she is. She desperately wants to forget her past, including some bad things she experienced, but the memories stay stuck in her mind. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her. He would die a thousand times over before anyone hurt Dylan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Dylan's not just my whole life, she makes my life whole. Some days she's the only reason I get out of bed. Without her in my life there is no point in living. She's like the air I breathe. Without her I can't live. She's my best friend and I will love her to the day I die." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This summer Dylan gets the opportunity to do what every guidance counselor has claimed she's always wanted to do . . . split up her family. Will she realize splitting up her family won't help anything? Or will she just not care? After all she was abandoned once. shay daniels She's been through a lot. Abusive father. Abusive step father sent by the abusive father. Mother thrown in jail for a crime she didn't exactly do. Probation officer. Depression. Suicidal thoughts. The whole shebang. grayson delgato Now he's been through a lot too. Death in the family. And that's about it. But it was enough to send him on a downhill spiral of a number of things: he goes through his own kind of depression, his previous perfect relationship with his parents is now gone, and his "golden boy" reputation is slowly deteriorating. They come together when Shay was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think now that maybe it was the right place at the right time. Their lives are very different, but they are both going through the same internal battle with themselves. Maybe they'll help each other. Maybe they'll make it worse. Maybe in the end their time together is just a waste. Who knows. But it all gets figured out at the edge of the cliff. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - pretty proud of this kinda cheesy, kinda cliche but at the same time kinda not just trust me its good
