Over ten Thousand years ago Avatar wan and the spirit of light Raava, completely locked the spirit of darkness Vaatu in the Tree Of Time. Or so they thought. Unknowingly to them vaatu had split his body in two and sent his other half somewhere in the mortal world. For ten thousand years it's been in a deep dormant state, wandering the world after separating from it's other half but all that change when it merge with a child.
19 year old (Y/N) is a mercenary for hire. He travels the world looking for work such as local wars, bodyguard, or bounty hunting, even assassination. Many things really. He isn't a evil guy nor is he necessarily good but does has a reputation for being ruthless. He also has a special power that only one person should ever have in existence and that's the avatar. He keeps it hidden and only uses one of the elements unless absolutely necessary, Knowing the trouble it would bring him and wouldn't hesitate to kill to make sure it stays that way.
But what would happen when he finally meets Korra? Will they fight like their Destined to, or...

*Korra and Asami's life continues after 'Ruins of the Empire'. Korra and Asami are back in Republic City following the defeat of Guan. For once everything is calm for the Avatar which means her attention is more on her relationship than anything else, finally. Juggling the life of the Avatar and being the girlfriend to the CEO of Future Industries is starting to take its toll along with struggling with her past and potential future and what that can mean for the new couple in a world that is constantly changing with new dangers rising. All Korra knows is that she loves Asami and will do anything to protect her. Sophia (14 years old) is 'The Legend' which is the partner to the Avatar, she can learn all the elements and contact the spirit world, she has mastered Fire and Air and has started earth but still needs to do Water. In this fanfic, they are going to a boarding school in Omashu to learn bending. The world has been Avatarless for 100 years, but what they don't know is that they are going to school with him. Avatar Aang was found in the Avatar State by a WaterBender in the Northern Tribe, Princess Yue. His partner Legend Sophia was found in the Legend State just off the coast of the Northern Air Temple.
