It didn't take much for Rylan's life to be hard case.

Whether it be the sterilized corridors of the hospital hallways or the never ending torment that is his condition, it has never been easy.

But after losing his father and being forced to move onto his mother's childhood home in a world completely different to the one he grew to know, his life didn't get any less complicated. If anything, between the hospital room and his new home on the reservation, it got nothing but worse.

Yet after discovering some new friends and having new found assimilations to his Ancestors' world, he discovered the secrets brought on by his family's homeland that rather should've remained buried. Secrets that had told him.

Life here on Black Elk Indian Reservation is never as it seems.

And forming a friendship with a similar group of outcasts, He thought life couldn't have become any better.

"They call you princess?" Aiden's bright green eyes followed my every move. I gulped, pulling a lose curl behind my ear nervously at his scrutinizing gaze. "Yeah." "Queen is more befitting, don't you think?" -------------------------- Meet Tiana Moore. Or as she was known in her neighborhood, Princess. A 17 year old girl, living in Tower Groves Park, the only neighborhood she's ever known. To some people Tower Groves was the 'ghetto' or the 'hood', but to her and her family it was just home. Her father had spent years trying to rebuild Tower Grove while keeping the gang's and violence to a minimum and ensuring safety to the dozens of kids who lived in Tower Grove. Reggie Moore was the most well respected man in Tower Grove. That was until he was gunned down outside of his restaurant and his family now had a permanent target on their back. Tiana and her mom packed up and moved out of Tower Grove a week after her father's murder to ensure her safety, but now she was in a new neighborhood, with a new school, and new friends. Meet Aiden Price. 17 year old good boy gone 'bad'. What happens when Tiana and Aiden are pushed together for an art project find out they they both have so much more in common than what meets the eye? Come along and watch as Tiana and Aiden 'fight' gangs, make love, and build the strongest relationship. Plus, there may be a few kidnappings here and there...who knows? -------------------------- "Uh." I slap his arm across the table. "Seriously, you're a small dick!" "I just complimented you!" [COMPLETED] Have you ever seen Disney's Tangled? If you have, do you know about how Repunzel isn't supposed to leave the tower because her 'mother' said that the world is a cruel place? Well, the same thing happened to Ellie. Just, she doesn't live in a tower or has freakishly long hair. She always looked out of the window to catch a small glimpse of the outside world. She never saw much except for the tips of grass in front of her and the grey, almost black, road that lay in between two houses. Oh! And her mother and father are not nice like in the movie. They treated her like a slave in the house and... Did I mention her room was actually the basement? If I didn't, now you know. Enter Aidan Walker. Ellie's twin brother. Aidan's life is opposite to Ellie's. He has everything severed to him in a golden plater. His every wish is fulfilled and is quite popular when it comes to media. To this day the media follows him around. Despite all the attention and everything being the way he wants, he still feels like something important is missing. He was raised in a well-doing family that took care of him like he was their own. He's well behaved. Both of them don't know about each other. Both of them find out on the same day. After finding out that he has a twin sister still alive and living, Aidan wasted no time in reaching out to her. After that, let's just say the first meeting isn't exactly how Aidan planned it to be. ❗BEFORE YOU READ❗ This book is yet to be edited. There are a lot of things that don't make sense or don't go well together. And there are a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes. Read at your own risk.
Break Me & Remake Me by KaijuYardz
54 parts Complete Mature
Aidan Crowley never planned on going back home. What for? To have his father spit in his face? To endure his sister's brooding glares? To face his ex-girlfriend and have to dig up some lame explanation for why he ran away? But when Lillian Crowley dies, Aidan finds himself drawn back in anyway. Just a simple visit to pay his respects - despite the dangerous waters and the sharks circling in the depths. And although the world he'd fled as a teen has changed in a lot of ways, much of it has stayed disappointingly the same. Enough so, it seems, as to bring out the worst in both Aidan and those he'd left behind. And then there's the matter of the seven sealed letters, and the warren of rabbit holes they open up beneath his feet. It's not long before Aidan is sinking, desperately struggling against chains of the past that he'd thought he'd cast off long ago, unable to break free until Lillian decides she's well and truly finished with him. He should have known: the heaviest steps a man can take are those that lead home. =============== SCHEDULE: New chapters every Mon/Wed/Fri until the story concludes in April. =============== Please COMMENT if you feel like it, I always love hearing what you think and what you predict might happen next. I also appreciate constructive feedback, if you have any, or you can DM that if you prefer. =============== CONTENT WARNING (mild spoilers): This story contains medium to heavy themes related to generational trauma and the kinds of things that tend to cause that. The characters are dealing with some serious issues, though none of it is presented gratuitously or explicitly. Despite the heavy themes, the general tone is positive and focuses on redemption and a brighter tomorrow. I won't leave you depressed at the end, I promise!

Graduation is right around the corner for Ada Sinclair. She's spent all of high school saving up for her dream college and skipped high school traditions to keep her grades up for scholarships. When the acceptance letter came in the mail, every ounce of her effort felt worth it. She's spent her life being a small fish in a small pond, but eagerly awaits September so she can spread her wings and move on to big things. When her mother comes home to reveal she is in the early stages of Huntington's Disease, a disease passed down from her own mother, she can't hide from the truth she may be next in line. It is then that her plans and dreams for her future shatter. Nothing is more important to her than her family, people who need her and her strength more than Ada needs her dreams. Not knowing how much time she has left with her mother, she makes the choice to remain at home and has no regrets. Only the fear of uncertainty. Feeling like the world is crashing down on her, Ada turns to the man who's been there for her for the last four years. He'd given her the confidence she needed to become the woman she is now, held her while she cried and has been there through every struggle she's faced. He seems fully willing to be there for her again, even if that means risking his career as a teacher; her teacher. As their friendship grows stronger, they find strength in one another and a connection they can only ignore for so long, a connection that comes with life-changing consequences for them both.
