Because nighttime is when the brain works best and is the most cranky. Status: Batch 1 CLOSED (Slow, sometimes weekly updates) *** I take a lot of elements into account in order to give you a proper review on what I think about your story and/or how it can be further improved - minus the sugarcoating. I am gonna be blunt about it, trust me. If you wanna see how I do my review first, then don't hesitate to check out how I fare to your tastes inside. (Don't worry, I won't blowtorch you - not that badly anyway, huehue.) So if you're interested in having some random night owl take a look at your book, then by all means go ahead and bring in your pillows and hot cocoa for a night of reading, reviewing, and discussing. ★THIS SHOP DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO FOLLOW ANYONE. REALLY, YOU SERIOUSLY DON'T. (Just a bunch of comments to waste your fingers away.)

"Upstairs!" I hear a yell and pounding footsteps. I crawl out of the window until I'm hanging from my hands. I take a breath. I let go. ~ Living in a small town with a single mother, Mia Glenn never expected anything special to come of her life. She never thought she would go on an adventure as harrowing as the stories she read. Until one day she narrowly avoids being kidnapped, discovering in the same day a whole new universe that she is supposedly a part of. As she navigates the elven world of Earthe with the help of a particularly attractive elf boy, she learns secrets about her identity and her father's, of whom she believed had ditched her and her mom at an early age. Soon Mia discovers that peace isn't as easy as it seems, and while Earthe may be beautiful, there are dark parts that are creeping back to the light. Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.
