Layla Sanders was a star. Was in the past tense. She used to light up every room she went into. What people didn't realize about her was that like the sun she was also fading. Josh Stevens was bland. People heard Josh Stevens they thought of the quiet and polite guy on the football team. He was the quarterback but he wasn't the star. Josh Stevens was non confrontational, just the way he liked it.

"What's wrong with her doctor?" her mother asked and the doctor sighed and looked at the four years old girl with a pale and bland but pretty face. "She has alexithymia" he said. Louisa was born without emotions. She couldn't feel anything. Her classmates bullied her because of it but it didn't matter to her because she didn't feel pain or sadness. Josh stood up for her and they became friends... More likely, she became his friend. To Louisa, he was someone who didn't bully her. Surprisingly, she started changing her mind when they got to their last year of high school.
