My name is Nova Maya Moonshade. I left home at 16, and travelled to L.A. I travelled around for a bit, getting even more depressed. I was right by the Tacoma Dome in Washington on July 12th 2019 when my whole life changed. My idol, Adam Lambert caught me about to kill myself that day. He pulled that knife away from me and gave me a reason to keep fighting on. He gave me a place to live, and gave me a chance to travel more, as a roadie for him and the boys from Queen. I always thought I was safe, you know? I mean, it wasn't really something I thought about before. It's not like I had a reason to worry about being particularly unsafe.
