A Twist Of Fate

At the tender age of 19 Rowan Lowry's life spins completely out of her control. She wanted a few months to spend with her best friend who moved to Scotland with her betrothed. This did not turn out as planned though. The newly weds were stuck so far up each others ass that Rowan couldn't stand it. So in her haste to ditch the happy couple she rents a small cabin on the outskirts of Glasgow far away from prying eyes. What occurs when she happens upon an old well? An old well that she just so happens to accidentally lean too far over the edge and falls into it's murky waters only to resurface and come face to face with a Scottish warlord a good thousand years in the past.

Alastair McCormack of the Buchanan Clan was heading back with his men from a battle won. He decided it was as good a time as any to rest and get some space from his soldiers for at least a moment or two. He rested against a well they had past on their journey to war with the Macleoids. His parched throat made him turn to drink from the well, only to come face to face with a beauty he had never seen on the face of another.

Will Rowans life ever go back to normal after encountering the devastatingly handsome warlord.. Or will she decide to stay with him? Will the darkness that clouds the warlords thoughts be taken away with the beauties presence? Or will all else fail and will Rowan die in the past?
