Virgil is a struggling high-schooler with a heart for fantasy. He can easily get lost in the world of dragons and magic. Deeming reality not interesting enough he usually writes stories, but when he breaks his pen and writes a prince into existence with his new one, his problems are only just starting.

The world of Spring is a place where magic, dreams, and fairies roam free. Prince Roman of Spring just wants a place where there isn't damsels in distress that he has to save everyday. Wishing for a fresh start he runs away only to get on the bad side of a dark sorcerer who curses him into an unknown land. 

When these two opposites meet, their lives are changed and filled with more action packed adventures than any stories Virgil could've ever wrote.

Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off.
