Fate is so messed up.
I face the men strongly as they approach us with Willow slumping on my shoulder. My waist was half drenched with her blood and sweat as she clung onto me, moaning in agony. It was a massacre, a blood bath really. None of this was suppose to happen, the one day I dismiss Quinn from his duty and all hell breaks loose.
Out of nowhere, two white darts hits both men on the neck and their eyes rolled before collapsing to the floor, unconscious. I stared, completely flabbergasted at the scene before me. A masculine chuckle breaks me from my gaze and my posture turns rigid.
"Did you know that it's highly unlikely for a robbery to occur between the wee hours of eleven to five on Wednesdays?" An unfamiliar voice says from behind.

It started out as something anyone could have confused as a hangover, food poisoning, or any other puke indulging sickness. But then within minutes it morphed into something even the smartest and most experienced medical facilitators couldn't diagnose.
