With a smile and a wave, a girl at 18 lives at 17 Cherry Tree Lane with her family, the Banks. The growing young lady isn't one for following men and fancy gowns, much preferring a blouse and slacks, much like her aunt Jane. With an open mind full of magic and belief, yet over clouded with logic, (Y/N) sits at her windowsill, her hair flowing in the wind as she sings softly, waiting for an adventure - and possibly even a chance at love;
"Listen...~
Soon the slump will disappear!
It won't be long~
Sooner than you think you'll hear,
Some bright new song~
So hold on tight to those you love!
And maybe soon, from up above!
You'll be blessed, so keep on looking high~
While your underneath, the lovely London sky!~"
Unaware of the male, watching her from above with a soft smile on his lips.
"...Lovely London, sky~"

Hey everyone! I'm a fan of anime, and hetalia. As soon as I saw this movie, Mary Poppins Returns, this immediately popped into my head! It was funny, since whilst I was watching the movie, my mind automatically continued with adding Arthur and (Y/N) to the plot, preparing for me to write a story.
Slow updates maybe up ahead! I have to actually buy the DVD first so... yeah hehe. Thank you so much!

After a night of wonder under flowers and fireworks, Penelope Featherington thought she was on top of the world. Things seemed to go perfectly for once in her life. Until, her best friend discovers something she's been hiding for years. And to top it all off she overhears a conversation she was never meant to hear. And for the first time in her life Penelope truly feels like she's alone in the world. Penelope must look inside herself and decide once and for all if she will continue her usual wallflower ways or if it's time for her to step into the spotlight and claim the life she has always dreamed of having.
Colin Bridgerton was, in his own estimation, perfectly happy being single. He enjoyed the occasional dance with the beautiful debutantes and his charming ways lead him to be quite a flirt. However he knew deep down it meant nothing. He was not in search of a wife, in fact he wasn't even ready to entertain the idea of finding one. He did however find himself involved in a rather deep and genuine friendship with one, Miss Penelope Featherington. But when his own foolish remarks threaten to ruin there relationship forever, he must decide whether he can let her go or if there is maybe something he hadn't seen in her before.
Could Prince Charming (or rather Mr. Charming) truly set aside his rakish ways for one wallflower? Or will the secrets she's hiding tear them even farther apart?
What happens when a wallflower blossoms?
