My poetry is gold
Written with a smirk or a scowl
Poured out from the depths of my soul
And mashed to words in a bowl
decanted in the form of ink
on rusty paper folds
worth more than the price of mink
my treasure to behold
I write about my life
and other people's strife
cut deep with the edge of a knife
and I'll write till my afterlife
my poetry is my boat
to keep my heart afloat
as you journey through the tides
and depths of a magical soul

I try and try every day, but nothing seems to go my way. In my mind, there is pain, yet I try because one day, I will feel great. Full of poems that I've written, am writing, will write. Maybe mostly about life and others are deep stuff and more... Some are happy and some are sad/dark. Some poem(s) I wrote about or related to a book/movie.etc. Others I wrote as a story in poem form. *checked my old poems recently and GORE, HORROR, BLOOD ALERT for some of the poems near the beginning!! SO maybe best to read my poems from bottom to the top if you mind the stuff^^^ *I think the more recent poems are quite different from the older ones.
