This is my take on a writing prompt last year.
A child psychologist has found a way to determine the IQ of any newborn shortly after birth. He approaches you and several other experts in their respective fields to create an isolated society allowing prodigy babies to grow unrestrained by modern society and realize their full potential.

Heroes at Heart
"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. Sometimes all it takes is one inconceivable choice to change the course of another person's life, the way your story begins is a prime example. Metro City... it was just that, a city named after its own hero, Metro Man. You live there as well, but not in the same way regular kids do. You were all alone. Just you, your skateboard, and several cans of paint, that was really all you needed. Every day was mostly the same, living your life as a young graffiti artist on the run, but it wasn't without reason, your inspiration for everything was centered on one individual; The blue-brained super-villain that went by the name Megamind. Zachariel Joseph's heart shattered when the man that he had loved for ten years betrayed him. His lover took everything that he loved away from him. All that changed when he lost his grandmother due to illness. He was just eighteen years old when it happened. Alexei's grandmother's will stated that he was the next owner of her empire. Alexei was suddenly burdened with responsibilities that he never wanted. He had to move from France to America to fulfil his duties. Alexei's wish was to become a surgeon and live his life leisurely with his future lover and children. Alexei became bitter and cruel when he didn't get what he wanted in life. People didn't dare to approach the C.E.O. Alexei in return only talked to his best friend Chance and two other friends while leading his grandmother's empire. The astonishing thing was that Alexei had never forgotten the man who had once saved his life. Will the mighty C.E.O ever manage to meet the man or will something unexpected happen?
