Every main character has their own backstory. The more tragic, the better the character will be.
So in the case of Hinata Jiyu, what could being tortured, starved and her memories erased earn her in anime?
The only thing she has to go on with is her father's dying wish--to don his opal necklace and live as a normal girl--but that's not possible.
She's going to meet people-bad and good, and maybe even someone who knows about her past in the world of My Hero Academia.
