A pair of gleaming red eyes scanned me. Curse my body to react like that, but I seemed to be paralysed at the moment and gazed back into those eyes, trying to read them. The figure came nearer and nearer and wouldn't stop coming near me. I kept taking a step back as the figure approached me. Soon I couldn't escape anymore and the figure came so close to me that every breath taken by me seemed like the last one.
