When Tommy Ollis was offered a job to take care of the 12-year-old daughter of his sister's boss, he thought it was just normal babysitting. Tom then realizes that this will be very different and much harder than that. And somehow emotional and heartbreaking too.
It's hard to 'babysit' someone you can't see or talk to, but with a help of a guitar, and cue cards, maybe there's another way.

There are two kinds of people in this world, normal people like you and me, and the Strays that are ridiculed because they're not fully human. I'd like to think why we aren't treated the same, but I'm just a normal human girl. What can a person like me do to change something as big as the status of Strays in society? Well, when your father runs a cafè that's a bit understaffed, sometimes you can get desperate. Any song lyrics or quotes that I use in this book that aren't my own are credited at the end of the chapter that they are featured in if I don't directly recognize it in the story itself. I highly recommend that you check out their work if it appeals to you. NOTE: I have discontinued writing this story, though I will make an edited second version.
