"The only ways to kill a Crawler are to sever the head or remove the heart. If any muscle remains in the body, the heart will regrow. If the head is touching the neck at all, it will fuse back."
I've died several times in my life. Being shot in the head by my best friend, being dismembered and mutilated by another, and being beheaded by the Crawler king.
I wasn't supposed to come back this time, but fate has some plans for me. I had always wondered what the future would look like, but I didn't think I would ever see.
A new chapter is being written in my story, and no one else knows.

I grabbed my knife out of my boot and sliced it's throat. It stumbled back and came at me again. I poised the knife in my hand and forced it into its bloodshot eye. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Concluída
