THE NEW SLACK LOGO
It just revealed few hours earlier. and as defined in their own post regarding this change as :

"it's not change for the sake of change. That said, change is inevitable, and something to be embraced"

Well don't believe the above plain reason, here is what they further said:

"A good reason to change a logo is that it's not doing the job you want it to do-and because a simpler, more distinctive evolution of it could do that job better."

However, they have not bored or intentionally mentioned the meaning of their new sign, but its pretty recognizable that they now have a span of choices to play around their icon - a spinning wheel.

Check out their new slack logo change here:

Say hello, new logo.

They have played out with the colors and made it more simple, elegant and playful as well as flexible.

The change will be seen across all their platforms including website, social media, company outlets or offices within next few days along with proper launching of their campaign to bring in more people.

Slack is no doubt becoming space for corporate, teams and people who want to have more the work done in efficient and quick manner specifically for the designers, developers and agencies, which involves major coordination angles and stuff to work on.

Changing the brand identity is a major and thought out decision to reflect new strategies, features and planning they might have in mind to launch in the near future along with extending their reach beyond the application.
