Leah Thompson, 17 year old high school student, is an outcast. But she enjoys it. She does not want anything to do with anyone. After the house-fire that completely changed her life, she meets James, a mysterious boy with the same slightly anti-social and similar ideologies as her. At first, she is hesitant to befriend him. But secrets surge, threatening to not only tear them apart, but make the ground crumble beneath their feet. And with a silent murderer out on the loose in the city; things are about to get deadly. ~A heartbreaking novel about loneliness, forgivingness, tragedy and finding happiness.~ + ❝Why do you like the rain so much?❞ he whispered in my ear, his hands on my waist. ❝Because it reminds me just how alive I am.❞ I murmured; but my words were drowned in the sound of the heavy rain around us. ++++ All Rights Reserved ++++
