"Sure it is."
"No. I just think it sucks that you have to deal with all that and also be disliked by most other people. I think you deserve someone who would understand you and give you the comfort you need to make it all more bearable."
I looked at him and blinked. My lungs felt heavy and my jaw clenched. I swallowed slowly and blinked again. He put down his fork and licked his lips, looking into my eyes the whole while.
