Lizzy Taylor is know as the fat nerd in her school. She is 13 when the bullying starts and when she runs away to Texas to live with her aunt and uncle.
She promises her oldest brother that she would be back for her senior year, and that's what she plans to do, but not as the same girl that bullies picked on.
She becomes a celebrity in illegal doings such as racing, fighting, and dancing.
Her name in the street is la sombra.
Jace Black he comes to school a week after Lizzy left.
The halls are still buzzing with the fact that Lizzy punched Jean.
Jace is the bad boy type but he has a past along with a lot of secrets.

[Formerly known as One Simple Question] Basically a rewrite of the first story... with big changes to the storyline. Sam Larson is a sixteen-year-old closeted gay guy who, after receiving the news of his mother's death, winds up making Jace's life hell as a way of venting his grief. He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people. He hates people who bully others for things that can't be changed- such as sexual orientation or race- especially after having experienced it himself for being asexual/aromantic.
