Elizabeth considered herself to be a normal girl. She kept her head down, worked hard, and tried just to keep her head above water in the ocean of life. She wasn't a hero. What possessed her to intervene when she witnessed an attack on the street one fateful night, she'd never know. But that one act of bravery (or stupidity as she liked to call it) changed everything.
Like a carousel on fire, her life spun out of control. She felt like she was losing her mind. Monsters didn't exist, and yet the proof was all around her. The horror she'd experienced had even left it's print on her body, a daily reminder of what lurked in the shadows. She couldn't deny the truth any longer. Vampires were real. Very, very, real.
The dark world she'd stumbled into now threatened to swallow her whole, and once she knew the truth there was no going back. Elizabeth would have to fight and scratch to hollow out a place for herself among the monsters. Sink or swim, only time would tell. One thing she knew for certain.
Nothing would ever be the same again.
And soon, she'd discover she was anything but normal.

I knew that they knew I was here, without wasting time I aimed the grenades at them, causing them to howl and growl. Next I took out my gun and shot them six times in the stomach, arms, head, anywhere I could get them each and then using my silver dagger, I coated it with wolfsbane and then plunged it into their heart. Once I was sure they were dead, I took out my matchsticks and watched them burn. Happy with their deaths and their elimination and the fact that now their were two werewolves less on earthConcluida

I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't. To think of it,it was too quiet around here I then proceeded to go upstairs to my room as I know my brother has soccer practise and my dad is at work. I walked upstairs and passed my father's office and I heard some talking I then heard laughing,a woman laughing to be specific "Scott stop!" She laughed once again And i knew that,that was not my mother's voice. My heart broke when I realised my dad didn't actually love my mother. He was a cheater and after this i lost all respect for him. I stood outside the door for a good 10 minutes debating whether I should storm In there or just keep quiet about the whole thing. The laughing and talking went on and I decided it would be best if I walked away. Tears threatened to fall as I went to my bedroom. I actually looked up to my father. He was my superman. He got himself a good job,a beautiful wife,and started a beautiful family...only to find out it was all a lie. Is his wife even his wife? Are we even his children? Human Status
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.Concluida
