Elizabeth considered herself to be a normal girl. She kept her head down, worked hard, and tried just to keep her head above water in the ocean of life. She wasn't a hero. What possessed her to intervene when she witnessed an attack on the street one fateful night, she'd never know. But that one act of bravery (or stupidity as she liked to call it) changed everything.
Like a carousel on fire, her life spun out of control. She felt like she was losing her mind. Monsters didn't exist, and yet the proof was all around her. The horror she'd experienced had even left it's print on her body, a daily reminder of what lurked in the shadows. She couldn't deny the truth any longer. Vampires were real. Very, very, real.
The dark world she'd stumbled into now threatened to swallow her whole, and once she knew the truth there was no going back. Elizabeth would have to fight and scratch to hollow out a place for herself among the monsters. Sink or swim, only time would tell. One thing she knew for certain.
Nothing would ever be the same again.
And soon, she'd discover she was anything but normal.

This book has been my pet project for years and I will not appreciate it if anyone trys stealing my work considering how I have all of the rough drafts written down on paper. I would be very angry in fact. Any drawings that might be shown will be mine. The book title came together with the help of my older brother who is quite good with titles while I am not great at figuring out book titles but am good at writing stories and chapter titles. The book title may be added on to in the future but only time will determine that. This is the first book of the series. Once again I would like to remind everyone the story is ALL MINE. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself.
