After the Weirdageddon events Cipher is gone and got turned into a rock, However, after a long farewell walk to gravity falls before leaving it behind, Dipper spots the statue and unwittingly brings him back to life. Now, since his powers are weakened and he's basically without much support of his kind vengeance is out of cogitation yet he still decides to discount on the most accessible person at the moment and the one that was always his prime target after Stanford.
