Now, 10 years later, she stays with a medium sized group of survivors in an old church building, fighting to stay alive. But when push comes to shove, enough is enough, so she and her 2 best friends set off on a journey to stop the Root once and for all. Meeting people along the way, Aella travels across the country in search of a cure. But things take an odd turn when more questions arise with every new piece of information rather than answers.
