After high school, Claire and Michael got married and lived happily ever after. They now have two children: a son named Blaze who is 20 and a daughter named Sunshine who is 17. This is the story of Sunshine, as she faces high school and goes through the struggle of being a teenager. She's a girl who is not afraid to speak her mind and tends to be very sassy. She tries to follow rules, but ends up breaking them because of the people around her. When a white boy, Matthew Clark, comes into her life, he thinks she's not as bad as she seems. Is this all a cover or is there something much deeper?
