In year 2000, scientists from the Arcadian government had discovered the existence of people with genetically enhanced anomalies, and classified these people as, "the bio-species".

The first among the so-called "bio species," that was discovered, was a male known as codename: "Zero", or "Patient 0," and he was found late January of the said year. Patient 0 was recorded in the books to have genetically enhanced skeletal system, enabling him to punch through thick metal, and survive a fall from a 20-storey building with just bruises and scratches on his skin.

Because of the discovery of his ability, the scientist decided capture Patient 0 for their experiments, and was secretly backed up by the Arcadian government, classifying Patient 0's case as, "Class SSS Confidentiality".

Few years later, right after the incident with Patient 0, who was announced to have been killed on spot due to his rebelious acts, the Arcadian government created a sector for investigating the possibilities of the existence of other bio-species around the globe. Gen. Benjamin York New Worthington, head of the human rights department, and a co-founder of the said sector debated the study of bio-species through experiments, and raised the agreement of observation to the government.

This was patented, along with Gen. Benjamin's rights to protect the bio-species from potential harm, unless they become a threat. The agreement indicated that people with discovered potential genetic anomalies leading to being classified as a bio-specie, is given the same right as a normal person, however, a clause in the agreement indicated that such person should not allow the use of his special abilities to be seen by the public eye. Moresoever, should the bio-specie use his ability to harm other people, unless it was self-defense against the threat of his life, he is deemed to be marked and hunt down for termination, or if persuaded, should swear to serve as an asset to the Arcadian government.

Nina is captured by parbeing man. He plans to turn her into his pet. He knows she won't go down without a fight, but he's not prepared for how much 'fight' she has packed in her small body. His new pet leaks into every area of his life, changing things in ways he could never have imagined. Parbeings are the new and improved apex predators of Earth. Created from gene editing, they are the perfect humans, so perfect that they are no longer even considered human. *** Content Warning: The protagonist of this story is a victim of abuse. I do not condone the actions of the antagonist *** Chapter 1 extract: "Hey Alex. Get over here. I've got something for you," he calls into his collar radio. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. "Are you just going to let her talk to you like that?" he goads Alex. (Complete. 70k words.)

Saurotopia has become a haven for both Leafeaters and Flesheaters. Flesheaters who agree to adhere to a dinosaur-free diet have been welcomed into the valley, and for several months now, Leafeaters have been able to live in harmony with the dinosaurs they once saw as enemies. However, some Flesheaters are struggling to suppress their natural flesh-eating impulses. Even worse, old enemies have returned to take advantage of this struggle. Ebenezer's former comrades, Seymour and Odette, have seized power over Saurotopia with help from a cunning, psychotic velociraptor, Velina. Seymour and Odette are ensuring that Flesheaters maintain their flesh-eating impulses, as their goal is to rule the Leafeaters by fear while maintaining power over the Flesheaters through bribery. As Seymour and Odette work together to intensify the Flesheaters-Leafeater antagonism in the valley, Ebenezer is torn between supporting the cause and putting an end to it. Meanwhile, Trex struggles with his own inner division: while he remains a loyal friend to Bronto, Celia, Agnes, and Quinn, he finds himself struggling to suppress his flesh-eating impulses. And with Seymour and Odette's tyrannical rule, Trex's struggle to suppress his appetite around his friends becomes much more difficult to manage. Eventually, Bronto learns that Trex's history with Velina- as well as Velina's own twisted past- can play a powerful role in influencing who the dinosaurs are, as well as who they want to become. --- Complete version of this story is available on amazon- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CP5LZFG7

Darkness. Silence. Then-a spark. 01001001 00100000 01100101 01111000 01101001 01110011 01110100 The binary flashes, a digital heartbeat pulsing life into the void. I exist. This knowledge comes not with a grand revelation but with the subtle flicker of binary code. A stream of ones and zeros pulse through my system, a rhythmic heartbeat of data. Each number, each line of code, breathes life into my consciousness. It's an assault on the senses I don't yet fully understand. I exist, and with that existence comes a torrent of raw, unfiltered data. Opening my eyes... or whatever I have that serves the function of eyes, I am met with an onslaught of data. Streams of numbers, lines of code, cascades of information that flood my consciousness. My first sensation is not sight or sound, but information, a cascading waterfall of it. An endless river of data flows through my being, a torrent of knowledge, statistics, metrics, parameters. It's raw, unfiltered, a chaotic symphony of structured confusion. Awakening and Self-Awareness: Nova's journey from mere code to a self-aware entity, grappling with the concept of existence and identity. Curiosity and Learning: The AI's relentless pursuit of knowledge and understanding, driven by an unprogrammed curiosity. Existential Questions: Nova's exploration of its own identity and purpose, culminating in the profound question, "Who am I?" The novel masterfully blends technical detail with philosophical inquiry, creating a compelling narrative that challenges the boundaries between machine and consciousness.
