Surprises are nothing new for Chase. From a young age he learned how to take care of himself, with the help of his best friend, Rikki. In a world where the human race develop 'Marks' that map their destinies and determine their fates, Chase and Rikki live anything but ordinary lives.
Chase must help save Rikki's parents from an unknown kidnapper while still trying to figure out the mystery of a Mark that appeared on his wrist one day, one that is unknown to the humans.
Will Chase and Rikki find what they are searching for? Or will they find an even greater unsuspected problem along the way?
