When things turn quiet in the town of Riverdale, something doesn't seem quite right. No more murders, no more black hood or Gargoyle kings. High school students are, once again, able to study and party. Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper remain at their thrones as serpent King and Queen, leading their gang to protect riverdale from any evil that may trespass over the town line.
Infamous rival, Penny Peabody, and her gang of ghoulies, return to town with a criteria for revenge on Jughead for the pain and suffering he has caused. However, her game is not to simply kill Jughead but cause him pain in return by using the most loved people in his life. What will Jughead do? Will he risk everything to save the one he loves or will he live forever wondering what happened?
