They shivered in their positions as wild ominous thoughts filled their minds. The large Victorian structure stood about 50 feet tall. They didn't know what was going to happen. All they knew was that they were right here, right now standing in front of the old Vanderbilt Manor that stood on top of a vacant hill. A wide spread of rigid gaunt trees followed the rusty iron gates to the entrance of the manor. If they only knew what was ahead of them; how entering that dreadful place would drastically change their lives.
