Come Home (a Japril story)

This story begins in the Season 13 finale of Grey's Anatomy. This is my take on the story if instead of it being the beginning of Jaggie, it will be the beginning of a Japril reunion. Story from then on will just be my ideas.

Dr. April Kepner is an attending trauma surgeon working at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Along side her is her ex husband and the father of her child, Dr. Jackson Avery who is Head of Plastic Surgery. After an unimaginable situation, they lost their son from osteogenesis imperfecta, a disorder that causes a fetus' bones to break within the womb. The grief, and the different way they handled it, eventually drove them apart, ending their marriage. For a while, they lost sight of why they fell in love in the first place. When April finds out she's pregnant right before they divorce, she keeps it to herself, ultimately driving a wedge between her and Jackson. They eventually get on good terms and have a beautiful daughter, Harriet, together and co-parent her. Later, as orchestrated by his mother when he made a decision to see his father, April accompanied him and not only helped make a little girl speak again but also comforted him when he was disappointed with the father/son reunion. After celebrating their successful surgery, the two find themselves in bed again, a parallel to their first night together. Despite it being amazing, neither knows what it means and this causes them to grow distant again. However, when an explosion and roaring fire takes over the hospital, they both realize they can't live without one another. Embark on this journey where we pretend Japril got everything they deserved and more in Come Home!

The name 'Sloan' was something that had almost haunted Kenny her entire life. She hated it, she loathed it, and if she could go back in time and yell at her parents for having a second child when they couldn't even raise their first, she would jump at the opportunity with both hands outstretched. But, she couldn't deny that her cold upbringing had dramatically affected the way she was today. She was cold, and that made her a great surgeon, but it also made her a huge bitch. She couldn't deny it - it was what she was. Her brother said it made her impossible to reason with, Cristina said it made her a surgery god. In any case - Mackenzie Sloan would make herself a surgical Rockstar, and she didn't need anyone holding her back. But with the merger with Mercy West beginning and staff being let go left right and centre, Kenny lets herself fall into the same cycle that her brother and Derek had just pulled her out of after the deaths of her fiancé and George O'Malley; work, study, sleep, repeat. With surgery the only constant in her life, Kenny knows it's also the only thing that will always be there for her, so now, more than it ever has been, her top priority is staying in employment. What if? (Grey's Anatomy Edition)
This story is 100% fiction and my interpretation of what could have happened. I do not own any of these characters, all that credit belongs to Shonda Rhimes and other writers of Grey's Anatomy. What if Callie was the one who cheated on Arizona? You only have the love of your life once, what if Callie wasn't hers like Arizona once thought? Who will fix a very broken Arizona Robbins when she still isn't completely healed after returning to work? The plane crash happened, but not the way it really happened in Grey's. Derek did break his hand badly, and Arizona did lose her leg. Mark and Lexie do NOT die. They are some of my favorite character's so I would never cut them if I didn't have to. In my story, Sofia does not exist because I simply cannot write about a custody battle if that happens in my story. Watching it on Grey's was enough for me to never want me to relive it. Some characters are going to come earlier than they are in actual Grey's, mostly because I love them so much that I simply cannot forget them. Some plots or details do not exactly correspond with the seasons as again, it is fiction, so anything is on the table. You may find some familiar questions from various characters being used for other characters, but they are so iconic and interchangeable. Abby has been a paramedic for a few years now. She's seen an awful lot of injuries, she's witnessed births and deaths, she's been in very stressful situations. It was all normal to her. Until one day, she comes across something really weird. Alex is 18. He thought he could leave his past behind. But MI6 (today called SIS) had other plans. Another mission, supposedly a pretty simple one. During a chase, he gets slammed against a car. The two guards after him collide with eachother. Alex has to hide in an underground parking space, he has to continue his investigation. Unfortunately, a paramedic sent to the accident wanders off of her group. Under no circumstances should she find out about Alex and what he's up to. Disclaimer: I write this fanfic because I am slowly loosing my grip on reality and Alex Rider is the only thing that keeps me sane. English is not my native language and I've probably made some mistakes but I don't care. This fic is purely for my entertainment but if you also like this story then keep on reading! In addition, I am not american and don't know much about the healthcare system so I figured I'd adapt the one from my country.
